Aberdeen’s Fat Hippy Records have pulled off something of a coup with the news that exiled local Terry McDermott has chosen to release his new EP on the label.
New Orleans-based McDermott became a huge star in the USA after coming runner-up on NBC TV show ‘The Voice’

Friends, we are giddy with excitement to announce we are welcoming Terry McDermott back to Fat Hippy Records!
The former Driveblind singer and recent The Voice USA runner-up is returning to the label where his music career started with the Driveblind ‘I Know You’ EP on Fat Hippy 10 years ago.
In a few weeks time we will release a brand new EP of Terry’s latest work with his band The Bonfires, featuring exclusive previously unreleased songs from one of the most exciting voices in music this year and one of the most successful and talented musicians ever to come out of Aberdeen.
Release date and UK tour dates to be announced asap, I hope you’ll all be with us to give Terry the huge welcome home he deserves as a long time ambassador of the vibrant Aberdeen music scene!
